Who can join the Shopfront Affiliate Program?

Anyone with an audience of resellers, vintage sellers, op shops or small e-commerce businesses. Creators on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Reddit, plus newsletter writers and community organisers — if you talk to people who could benefit from crosslisting, you're a fit. There's no minimum follower count and no approval queue.

How much can I earn?

You earn 30% of every payment from every customer you refer, for the first 6 months of their subscription. Refer 10 sellers on our $60/month plan and you'll earn $180 a month for each of their first 6 months — that's $1,080 from a single batch of referrals, and it grows as your audience grows.

How do you track my referrals?

You'll get a unique tracking link from your affiliate dashboard. When someone clicks your link and signs up within 60 days, the conversion is credited to you. Tracking works through cookies tied to the shopfront.app domain, so your referrals are attributed reliably even if the customer comes back later to sign up.

When do I get paid?

Payouts run on Net-15 — commissions earned in any calendar month are paid out by the 15th of the following month. There's no minimum payout threshold, so you'll get paid the first month you refer a paying customer.

How do I get paid?

Accepted Answer

PayPal or Wise. You set this up in your affiliate dashboard after signing up. Wise is recommended for affiliates outside Australia — lower fees on currency conversion.

Question 6

What happens if my referral cancels?

Accepted Answer

You earn commission on every successful payment in a customer's first 6 months, so once a customer cancels you stop earning further commissions for that customer. Past commissions you've already earned are yours to keep.

Can I promote Shopfront with paid ads?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with one rule: don't bid on Shopfront-branded keywords (Shopfront, theshopfront, Shopfront app, etc.). That keeps you from competing with our own search ads and inflating costs for both of us. Other paid promotion — TikTok ads, YouTube pre-rolls, sponsored posts — is fair game.

Do you have brand assets I can use?
