Older Brother Core (or Olderbrothercore) is a TikTok-popularised retroactive aesthetic from the early 2020s that curates a specific nostalgia: the stereotypical visual of having an older brother in the early-to-mid 2000s. It blends Skater, Grunge, Nu-Metal and Emo subcultures into a single cohesive style — baggy or oversized jeans (sometimes JNCO-style), studded belts, wallet chains, layered long-sleeve thermals under short-sleeve graphic tees (band logos, skate brands), unbuttoned flannels, zip-up hoodies, side-swept bangs, beanies and skate sneakers. Cultural touchstones include Linkin Park, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Blink-182, Sum 41, Monster Energy and original Xbox/PlayStation.
